Cord

Elastic cord can be used in many ways and is available in many widths, elasticity and colours (mono or polychromatic) and can be manufactured with a flame retardant (FR) coating. Elastic cord commonly consists of a latex core (mono or multi filament) with a polyester outer fabric. The elasticity of the cord can be modified on request. The outer fabric protects the natural rubber against wear and UV radiation.  Butonia-Kahage Group keeps several qualities in standard sizes and colours in stock. 

Cord (inelastic) made from materials such as cotton, linen or polyester is suitable for uses like drawstrings, guy ropes, attachment loops, shoelaces or other applications. Several designs, methods, thicknesses and colours are available or can be produced according to the customer’s requirements, depending on the application.

All items satisfy European requirements and most of them have the Oeko-Tex Standard 100® certificate.
