Buckles

The buckle has been used as a clasp since ancient times. At the start of the 19th century, men’s shoes were fastened with buckles, sometimes made of gold or silver or decorated with shiny stones to display wealth. This does not play a role any more in modern times. Buckles are mostly used as a closure and sometimes for ornamental purposes.

The product range of Butonia-Kahage Group contains a wide range of buckles in different shapes and materials such as metal, polyamide, polyester, urea, natural materials and recycled materials. The size of the buckle is commonly determined by the width of the fabric or belt loops.
